Cachos are important to Indigenous music. They are a traditional percussion instrument from the Andes and have a rich pre-Colombian tradition. Cachos are used by Andean groups to keep rhythm when they are shaken to the beat.
This colorful and playful cacho bell shaker is handcrafted in Lima, Peru. The handle is made from bamboo. The bell straps come in various colors and is trimmed with wispy tassels.
This instrument produces a sound similar to sleigh bells but quieter and with less movement sound.
Trimmed with beautiful and authentic Andean textile.
Makes a lovely addition to an altar, meditation room, home decor or as collectible musical instrument.
Colors vary on these but all have a lovely rainbow of colors.
